SL600 with AMG dual exhaust/rear bumper

Has anyone done this yet? If so, what's the cost of the change? I haven't seen any pics of anyone doing this and thought this may be a good option for since I really like the amenities of the 600, but also would like the appearance of the AMG style bumper. no worries guys & gals, there will be no "AMG" badging...actually I prefer no badging.

thanks in advance

I did it on my 500. The dual exhaust ran me 1100 and the
rear bumper ran me about 1000. To have it painted, installed
and the exhaust put on run me about 400. Basically 2500 for
the whole thing, but I got some good deals on it.

$2500 isn't bad at all! i guess my next question is does the 55 or 65 dual exhaust compatible with the 600?

thanks for replying

Personally I would buy aftermarket exhaust with nice tips and have a shop open the holes if needed....or if you dont have a good shop around buy a new bumper and use the aftermarket exhaust.

i like my cars to look fairly stock from the outside, so i want to go with a stock look of the AMG exhaust and rear bumper. i love the rear of the AMGs!

i'm guessing nobody has ever did this on a 600...cool, so i would be the first!

its been done..but not common. Some of te aftermarket exhausts look just as clean or cleaner then stock. Plus they give you great performance.

A couple of the other guys have done it on 600's. Its not
new, and supposedly very easy. It should go right on, but
take it to a reputable shop incase they need to make some
adjustments.

I had it done on my 2004 S600 TT, and I really think it turned out great! Especially the sound that you get, when you take away the last silencer on each side..!
I can't wait to do the same on my 2004 SL600 I bought 3 weeks ago... Pics will follow in nearby future... Untill then, here's a pic of my old S-class.

Oops. That wasn't alloud, or something. They said I allready posted it ones before. And that's true allright, but why can't I do it twice..?
Anyway, the pic is on the W220-thread under "03 S600 Removing resonators"...

Videos of what..? Note? (I'm from Sweden, see). Because you can't possibly mean receipt, right..?
Ohh... ... Perhaps you ment, if I did a recording of the sound? I think now you did.
In that case, I'm sorry.
And the car was sold to a place 1000 miles away from me...
But, as I said, I'm definetly gonna do that same work on my SL... Perhaps allready next week...

That is what I meant

I've never heard a 600/65 that got me excited so I'm itching to hear one with no mufflers

Patience, my friend. You will...
Just give me a couple of weeks, then I'm pretty sure you'll agree...
