x@#%^ ng door pockets!
These things are just infuriating. It's quite an elegant design, but in practice, these are the noisiest thing in my car. They just creak and groan just by looking at them. I've tried lubing the hinge, that didn't do much. I don't think I'm getting to the area that's the culprit. Anyone else delat with these? Is there a TSB or anything on them? Have you had them replaced, cleaned, lubed, blown up with dynamite, what? Any help is appreciated. Thanks...

Steel Grey 2012 ML350 is wife's
I generally only drive mine with the top down so I don't hear those noises, but just yesterday I was contemplating how to reduce the 1/8 inch gap on the armrest portion (which does annoy me)

Oh, I can hear mine with the top down..
and the noises they make getting in and out of the car are maddening. If you just give then the lightest touch, they squeal.

I can't believe I'm the only guy...
who has this problem. They squeak and groan like an old airplane. It appears the most obvious noises are from the hinges. How do these things come off? Is there a TSB? Does anyone have listing of TSB's from these cars, or do you know of one on the web?

Mine have never caused a problem and I feel are a wonderful design. Maybe the ones with problems have been abused or overstuffed.
