Somebody want to take over my lease?
I have the itch to get something new and was wondering if there was any interest in someone taking over my lease? I'm thinking $8k or obo and you just take over the lease.
Currently have 42months remaining on my lease (5yr lease). Monthly is 1194.90 before tax. 7500miles allowed and I am currently 3106 miles under the limit.
This is the first time I'm trying to see if anyone would want to take over my lease (+$8k obo). If there's no interest I'll just keep the car, not the end of the world to be stuck with a nice SL.
2007 50th Anniversary Edition
10,116 miles on the clock
2 sets of wheels - 20" Carlsson BE 1/11 and the stock wheels.
Carlsson lowering module
Uber Optik 60% tint on all windows
Clear Bra'd
V1 Radar Detector hardwired included
50th Edition luggage
Bluetooth module
2 sets of floor mats...one says AMG to get dirty and the other one says 50th Edition.
PM or email (itzkirb@gmail.com) me if you have any questions or an offer
Thanks

Would zero down and take over lease make more sense?
$2.5k down and take over lease?
$5k down and take over lease?
I know there are deep discounts on SL's now so I'm almost willing to take ZERO and only offer the stock wheels.
Just trying to get a sense of what is reasonable?
Thanks

I think you are asking way too much. Zero down would be alot better. Even with that, evidently some SL's are leasing for $900/mo with a little down.....it is the downside of them updating the style this next year and then again in 2 years. The car will be 2 updates old by the time the lease comes out and noone is going to want to be paying $1200/month then.
That is why I always really wanted to lease but pretty much no car stays the same for even 3 years anymore (AKA the life of a lease).....some sort of restyle is done and you are paying top dollar price for an old model.
I would think you wouldn't have too much of a problem getting 1200/month w/nothing down from a buyer.

please tell me where the 900.00+ deals can be found.
last night, i made a tentative SL550 lease deal for my GF with <2,000 down for 1450.00 / 39 mo / 10k mi on a 110k car. i thought that was fairly good. if not, then please tell me otherwise.
thanks very much.

Itzkirb,
I think your revised offer is very competitive against other leaseswaps out there. If you haven't already, see what 07 550s are offered for on leasetrader.com.
BTW, I received the SL print off your site a couple of months ago. Your transaction provider did a good job. It looks great framed and hanging in the garage.

Check out Carleasedepot.com Kind of similar site, you can legally have another individual assume your existing lease with the same terms.
There you can actually type in your state or city into the search box(nobody else has this) and then see the results.
Car Lease Depot is totally free of charge. Also right now you can post your ad for free.
