i just wanted to post some pics of my new COR wheels!

there all chrome with the spokes color matched. 20x11r and 20x9 f.

i couldn't believe these rims are actually lighter than the 18" ones i took off, so i weighed them and they're 3lbs lighter each!
i hope you like. i have some other mods in mind for the future.

i had the grill painted. i don't know if they sell painted grills in the US, at least I've never seen one from the factory.

thanks for all the compliments!

i had my body shop paint them for me. he also painted the rotor hub black to clean up the rust. i then applied the mercedes brake caliper decals myself. thanks to lkirchner for showing me where to find them!

i'll take a closer shot for you and post it soon.

Thanks for buying our wheels and posting the pics. This was truly an unsolicited endorsement. A very high class looking car.....no bling just style.

Sweet!
Nice looking car ... I'm new to MB SL500, just picked up a stock 2005 with low mileage but it looks plain with stock rims and 18" tires. I'm not sure what size of wheels to buy and I want to make sure that I still have a smooth ride (mainly want wheels/tires for looks). What is your option on running over sized wheels?

thx

robgon i live in nyc so this was a long and hard decision to increase my rim size. but after i did i felt silly for waiting so long. after speaking with several members on this board i did the deal and it makes a big difference on the way the car looks! its funny people look at my car likes its a new or different ride. i luv it!

having that said i still have to be mindful of the potholes.

btw if you get larger rims get good quality ones and definitely have your car lowered.

im luving all the compliments. thanks guys

I have 20s on my CLS and the ride is just fine. I actually put the 19s from the CLS on the SL and it rides just fine as well. The pot hole issue is very real.

Lips are sick, and I have to say that is the cleanest non-AMG packaged SL I have ever seen. Great job
May I ask you where you got that windscreen from?

thanks man! i actually made the windscreen myself. i was tired of having to choose between the windscreen or the roll bar. so i made this one from Plexiglas. it attaches to the roll bar with velcro.
