How much for a 2003 SL55 AMG in your area?
I was at the dealer today getting my car worked on. On the show room floor was a 2003 SL55 AMG, Silver with Red leather.
Anyway the car was the owner’s demo. They had a (get this) $39,900.00 markup on a demo car. The car has 3000 miles on it.
The sticker price without the markup was $121,500.00 plus their markup for a total of $161,400.00.
No Phone or Glass top.
I have to admit they dream big!

i was at my dealer a couple days ago and there was a black 03' SL55 there and it was beautiful. I dont know what options it really had but it was $198,000 and it said in big red letters on the whinshield reduced to $189,999.

WOW! What a savings, LOL.
Hard to justify $76,500.00 over MSRP.
But $68,499.00 over MSRP is still giving the dealer over $68K for the pleasure of buying there car.
I think I'll wait.

Taxes don't ya just hate them. I mean I don't mind paying my fair share but $160,000.00 plus the sticker man that's way out of line!
