lol, actually I was driving slow...no spinning tires, not only didn't wanna scratch the car but didnt want to tree to fall off.
I would've used my jeep if I knew I was gonna get the tree, but then saw some people selling trees on the sidewalk and couldn't resist.
I've had more stares tonight ever!

The point of my thread was to remind people of the coming holidays and christmas...
I own the car so I do whatever I want.
Bashers: you are entitled to post your opinions but please find someone else to flame.
The rest: I hope you all have a awesome christmas!

Everyone should carry a folded up sheet or blanket in case you want to kick back in a park or something,
Having said that, that tree looks like its short enough to fit in the trunk.

Yikes! You are a braver man than me. I would have stuck it in the trunk, brought another car or paid someone to deliver it.
Anyway....... Merry Christmas!!

Edit: If you got the 600 K2 you have to list it right brutha Kleemann ECU/TCU
Not this way, it looks like you only have ECU...
2004 SL600 Kleemann Stg II ECU Tune

I listed stage II ecu tune...which is exactly what I have (just da ECU). According to Cory, there is only a Stg II ecu tune in the US.
As so...thats why I didnt list "K2" or "TCU"...but will consider the TCU in the future!
I will dyno it sometime, and I will definitely bring it to the drag strip to see what I can get for 1/4 mile...right now I need to find a way to put that torque on the road. The 285's aren't cutting it...

You have Stage (1) from Kleemann site
The KLEEMANN Stage 1 kit consists of a custom-made ECU programme that increases power by 50 Hp and 150 Nm (111 lb-ft).
Stage 2 features the custom-made ECU programme and an electronic reprogramming of the five speed automatic transmission. Performance of the Stage II KLEEMANN kit speaks volumes with 627 Hp and 1.043 Nm (772 lb-ft) of peak torque.

The TCU is a necessity in order to get the full true perf from this upgrade, I plan on this or LET upgrade in the near future

Hmmm when Cory explained it to me stage 2 meant both ECU/TCU
You have Stage (1) from Kleemann site
Any way congratz on the power upgrade, you really should get the TCU it's holding back massive torque limiters, you wont be getting the 680-700rwto w/out it, w/ecu alone you'll prolly net somewhere in the low 600rwto range..

Was the $2500 special deal for a 50 HP stage 1? or 127 HP stage 2...and what IF I didnt get the TCU. I know if you read the Kleemann website, it would lead you to think that if you only got the ECU, you are getting a stage 1 upgrade. Keep in mind that the website is the Europe version. I did my due diligence and asked Cory lots of Q's on this....and so to clarify:
Stage 1 (50 HP increase)- not available in the US
Stage 2 (127 increase)- only available tune in the US.
They have sold the stage 2 ECU tune ONLY ($4500) in the US for years until recently they developed and slapped on a TCU tune.
I asked about the power output and tranny limitations if I didnt get the TCU tune, he said that the stock tranny can handle all the torque from the ECU tune and that there are ZERO gains in terms of power from the TCU tune. What it does is it provides more aggresive shift points and shifts much quicker.
Anyways, PM me for details. If you are thinking about getting the tune, do it before 12/31!!
