I cant find a good reliable body shop that can take care installation of aftermarket parts on expensive cars. baltimore body shops suck!

Baltimore Body Shops Sure Do Suck, Autobody Craftsmen in Rockville is doing the work, they are great guys and really know what they are doing, they deal mostly with old school cars and high end cars. My cars been there 5 months worry free, should be getting the car back next week

Now the bumper is something I want to do as well, this might sound like a crazy idea. But Im going to try implanting the new 09 front bumper to the 07 peanut eyes edition. that's best of both worlds into one. The rear I know will snap right on, but the front one require some plastic welding.

I hope to have pics up by next week, I wasn't sure if the AMG tips would fit on my exhaust set-up w/o a reducer because i went n changed all the piping to to 2.5 in, so i got these tips off ebay, they have a 3.5in outlet tht i thought would look really agressive with the 63 bumper.

+ you don't need an exact inlet diameter match, they can crimp fit it or expand/stretch fit dif diameter inlet/outlet combos to anything...
Example: I have larger custom 3.00" piping mated up to bone stock 2.75"-2.50" inlet tips on my 600....(Not 100% certain what stock diameter piping is 2.50"-2.75" but I am certain we put bigger 3.00" straight piping from cats-back to tail & the AMG inlet was smaller, he crimp fitted them no problem)
I'd go w/Staggered AMG tips w/baloney cuts over those Universal Ford tipsyour Mercedes is classy yet aggressive but NOT Ford Truck tips aggressive besides that they will not fit the diffuser exhaust cut-out space, those 3.5" Ford ovals are (From your link: 10.25" total length on each dual tip)
You'll have to hack-up that beautiful AMG SL63 diffuser to shoe-horn them in..

i was told the stock sl500 exhaust pipes were 2.25in, whatever pipes they used are .25in bigger than wot i have on the sl. 3in piping would not be a wise move for me unless i was blessed with ur engine. the exhaust guy said he rather not deal with reducers, I'm jus going off wot the exhaust guy was telling me, as far as the tips i think they will look great n im sure the shop will to do a perfect job if modification to the diffuser is needed. i'll post a pic of my cuzns SL55 with those tips but have the 4in outlet.
What do you mean you changed all the piping to 2.5" ?? I'm almost positive it comes OEM w/2.50" maybe 2.75" if 2.75" why would you choke it down & loose HP by reducing your piping to 2.50"

After Ive done my extensive research, I found out that there is a vector line left by the designer of the new SL below the center of the grille about 1/4inch and right below the headlight washer where you can actually cut and attached the upper 07' SL bumper and for the rear, you can still use the SL55 current exhaust. It placed right in. I will post pics soon.
