1st: Any1 managed to play videoclips.. like make a cd with videoclips and be able to play it inside the car ?

2nd: I saw a post in the past about how to enter a menu in the command and see some hidden features like messing with the radio volume and others.. and it was an option represented by a number and it was on how much km/h u are able to watch tv (as u drive) and it said like 1 is 10km 2 is 5km... and so on.. and it said put it to 0 for unlimited kms.. so u can drive normaly and watch tv...
and i cant find that menu now.. and when i did at the past i couldnt edit that number..
if any1 can make a guide to help me do that...?
thanks a lot

Unfortunately, unless you are outside the United States, you cannot play video on the Command system after MY 05. O3-04 can be unlocked, I don't know how, but I belive that there are posts on this forum that could guide in the right direction. Depending on the year of your SL you could google NAV-TV and find out how it can be done. It's possible but cost is something that I couldn't help with. Good luck....

How is the quality of the video for the 03-04? I was gonna get an 05 for the DVD nav, but if on an 03-04 you can play video clips by unlocking it this would save me money from having to swap in a new command module.

Its for waiting for traffic jams, or the long line up to get over the bridge, or even downtown grid lock.

So.. in The engineering menu now.. mine looks like this.. this side - guide is helpfull
http://www.mercupgrades.com/Mercedes%20COMAND%20Diagnostic%20(Service)%20Mode-article-13.html

On that last part of the menu under Configuration:
u see that menu with tickboxes and it explains what each one is.. and on the bottom those 6 hexadecimal numbers.. telling that the last part.. "04" in the guide is how much km/h the car will close the tv .. showing under..

Bit 4

Bit 3
TV disabled at speeds > 10km/h
Bit 2
TV disabled at speeds > 2km/h
Bit 1
TV disabled if not in Park / Neutral
Bit 0 (LSB)
TV disabled if handbrake off

hes is at 4 for unlimited.. mine is at 3.. but i cant really click on it and change it :S

give us an update if you manage to get it unlocked.

You could also try and audio shop and ask them if they have a SDS diagnosis software, they can use that to unlock the TV interlock.

Iam concerned that the MB tech wont do it, if he knows you want to unlock the TV interlock.

If you unlock tv interlock you can drive and watch movies or videos while the car is moving. With TV interlock videos wont play while you're driving.

please give us more details and procedure on what steps is needed to unlock tv interlock.
