New Lowenhart 20" LDR vs. MAE rims
Just needed to get some viewer input on the rims.
The top shows the newly-released Lowenhart LDRs and the bottom is the new MAE Crown Jewel III, both in chrome and 9x20/11x20.

Actually I wanted to get input on which set of rims people like better.
Definitely chrome. Are you selling both new? If so, what are your prices?

Sorry I don't sell wheels i was just curious if you were looking for a chrome or silver wheel. You know some wheels look better chrome and some don't.
I think the SL deserves quality rims, i really like the MAE rims a lot. They are made by OZ so not to worry about quality issues with them.. I know Lowenharts are japanese made rims and are good quality as well but no doubt very heavy especially in chrome. Since MAE has a design patent on their rims, you won't have to worry about a honda civic pulling up next to you with exact copies of MAE's made by "LORENZO". I think the new lowenharts are too plain looking, and no doubt will be copied by a low end wheel company.
You should contact wheelexpert.com of if your in SoCal i know a few other places to get rims for great prices.

I was told by Dazz who markets both rims that the Lowenharts have good chrome, Japanese being superior to others.
I used to go for the MAE look, but now, think they look dated and are a maintenance nightmare because of the multi-step lips. They also look too busy, IMO, and the centers aren't as big as the and don't have that deep dish look like the Lowenharts. If they made the MAE in 20" with a flat lip, then I might go back to them.

I like the lowenhard LDR. However, expect it to become very popular and heavily saturated on the streets (like the LD5). I like it, but it kind of has the lorinser D93 character, which is very dated.
