Hi, I'm looking for some rims with the following for the SL..

- Concaves inwards
- Able to see caliper through the rims

Anyone have any ideas??

That's a pretty broad question. The following are basic info, and you probably already know them: The main limitations would be to keep the tires' outside diameter the same as stock to keep reasonable accuracy of your speedometer. So you compensate the larger wheel size with correspondingly lower profile tires. 2) The wheels need to clear of the fender edges so you don't constantly hit the tires against the fender as you go over bumps on the road. So you either get small enough wheel or roll your fender edges. 3) The wheels clears the brakes on the inside. This depends on the wheel's inside width and its offset. 4) The wheel size choice would depend on the look that you want and the quality of your local roads. Larger diameter wheels usually is the preferable look, but would necessitate lower profile wheels, which in turn increases the risk of damage to your wheel when you hit pot holes. As far as tires the thread pattern and speed rating depends on how you're planning on driving your car. Thread pattern determine on its grip in different surface condition (dry, wet, snow) and noise level. Speed rating determine how fast you can safely go with the particular tire. Higher speed rating means softer compound, and lower longevity.

I suggest visiting manufacturers' / retailers' web sites to see the different styles of wheels available, and get specific fitment info.
