Anyone know how to remove and replace the Side Skirts/Rocker Panel/Apron?

I have searched, and can only find information for the bumpers. Any PDFs?

Spouse ran a speed bump and cracked the driver's side skirt. So I get one from a junked car, same color and everything but the stealer has been giving me the run around, "Oh sorry we don't accept customer parts due to warranty issues", "You have to make an appointment for next month", "We would need to refinish the skirt after installation", "blah blah blah....."

And I'm like, "Heck I've learned A LOT from this forum !" I was empowered by this forum to install my V60 phone system, installed the voice control system, do oil change, change brakes, did spark plugs at 70,000 miles this past December, changed out a cracked fog light, replaced trashed wheel well lining. I know I can handle this!

I have the same issue, my girl ran over a curb and broke the rocker panel as well as my rear rim and bent the main lower control arm. I got the helpful chart that was posted prior about how to remove and install the skirt. Thanks so much,

Any idea where i can get a right side amg rocker under 200?

If you know please advise.

Another question is on the right side the back of the rocker under it there is a black tank. Does anyone know what its purpose there? What is it called?

Hi there. I have seen some at ebay in the past. However, I was lucky to get mine for exactly $200 at a local salvage yard in Maryland. The company is called Potomac German Auto and they are know nation wide. www .pgauto .com. To say I was lucky is an understatement. In fact, I was extremely lucky because they had the same driver's side and same color that I was looking for! You may be lucky too. Mine was just the basic SL500 rocker. The AMG may run you more than $200 though.

Also, I think the tank you mentioned is the Air Chamber for the ABC Suspension Valve.
