Pictures of New SL
Car reporters were testing them here in Arizona and my salesman told me the location. Here ya go.

There was about 20 of them. On the way up there was a red one with the sport package driving along with me. It looked great in motion.

Very nice pics! Did you see any SL55 AMG'sby any chance? And what did you mean by "Car reporters were testing them here in Arizona" testing them for what? For a news coverage or something??

What Colour was the first pic you posted - Anthracite/Grey Mettalic --- ?

Which looked better - the above mentioned car or the one in black?


Which entrior looked better - Tan or Black?

The first picture I believe is tectite grey (spelling?) There was only 4 colors total. The darker red, tectitle grey, red, silver. It is all the same grey just different angles and light. I prefer the black interior with a darker color car but the light interior with a lighter car. I liked the black better. I am going to order the silver in the pictures with the sport package and black interior. I am on the first shipment according to my dealer.

I dont know which one to pick...

Blk/Blk or the Silver/Blk. I test drove the S500 with the Sports Package and found the tire/road nosie to be exsessive (not to my taste).

So the SL will be without the sports package as well. Except for the front air-dam I didint see any significant difference in the side mouldings etc.

Well, ride comfort over looks I guess. Even though I get upset every time I see a S Class with the Sports Package. But then again a smooth and quite ride...

I will wait till I see it in person. :-) Thanks for the info.
