Im curious to know what it would look like to have the plain grill with a hood ornament on the sl. It might look cool. MAYBE............................................. ..........

well, lots of people prefer having the sporty MBs to have the the big star grill...
why don't you just find a grill that is bigger than the R230 grill and without a star and retrofit it onto your car...

Its ironic that the people who want the starless grille say that they don't want the "attention" that comes with a benz. But In actuality, they will get more stares by people trying to figure out what the car is.
