Yeah, new dyno chart is still jacked up. Hp and torque should always cross at 5252. Not sure why this one doesn't. May be a scaling thing but either way you can't really determine the accuracy. I think the way they are measuring your RPM'S may be what is skewing your results. The only way I know of is to use an optical sensor on your crank.

Hello Members.

Blown and F1BHP

A question.... Maybe I have a boost leak?
If I can find a boost leak its the power going up or down what I have now... I mean more than the dyno chart show?
Do I have more Torque and hp and did it explain everything?

Stupid questions.....but I want to be sure?

A boost leak would cause a quick drop in torque and may give you a little more power when fixed.

Why do you think it is a boost leak?

Why do you think it is a boost leak?
If you look at the chart .....
That is how it just do... drop the Torque and fast.
If I have a leak somewhere the boost and Torque drop and less power at higher rpm....

So the possibilities are:
- Gearbox slip
- Boost drop. It's leaking somewhere

I have found out that if the gearbox slip its record it at the TCU.... as a fault code.
So you can check it with a scanner / Star 4 or with star 3

Speculation:
If the pressure becomes so much as the torgue show therefore begins to leak.
927 lbft of torque show the boost must be higher than normal and so on.... and If I can hold the boost with that torque longer up I must have a lot more of hp? I now normaly it goes down a little when the rpm is higher....but anyway.

If your torque is really over 900 then the gearbox will be slipping, the black series and the sl65 both limit the torque to around 800 as the gearbox will start to fail over that.

I have the AMG 65 (Black series / Im not sure) TCU software at my TCU... so Speedriven have change that limit...
This VIP person I mention earlier was Marchin from Speedriven. I ask him about this limit.... but he don't answer me about it.

Marcin gave me this fault code tips but he also mention its need normally more power than I have to do this...
it rolled to think over the matter and check everything with the Star.
Marcin asked me to do few test which I have think to do....

They upgraded the gearbox in the 600's around 2007 so you may well get some gearbox trouble.

I think I have found the problem

I check the fault codes by my star....
- No fault codes at the TCU

I think WTF.....

Next I check the ECU..
- One fault code P2001..... "low pressure" still power more than OEM... WTF.
Then I took of the engine covers and found this.... T-Branch rubber is off.

So it was not an expensive repair..... as I thought first... new turbine or gearbox and so on.
Must have been leaking a lot of here.... maybe to much air/boost and the rubber came of at the dyno.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FngZ...ature=youtu.be

https://photos.google.com/search/_tr...pgvOYYt0-qvyEv

Im so happy now because I found the fault my self and Im gone made a new dyno test..... so maybe in the near future I can show an accurate dyno chart... with a lot more hp than 610 hp...

Hopefully you will get some better results but it does not explain the strange dyno chart but once you get another pull done on a different dyno you will find out if all is well.

Every one here like this dyno because its have only one roller..... each side.... lower friction and power loss of less.
The grip is better than at dyno with two rollers....
Others is "Museum devices" ... : )

The 65amg had an upgraded version on the v12's and around 2007 the 600's started getting the same gearbox. I am not sure of the details.

If it is so great, you would think it would be able to spit out a valid dyno chart but it doesn't. Find a better dyno and get a TCU update so you can hold the gear without it jumping down a gear and throwing off your hp/tq readings.

Didn't you read the previous posts?
I found the problem yesterday... ? I had a big boost leak...
therefore it seemed show which showed...
Next it gone show what you want.... but with same torque at the bottom because the T-branch rubber blow off at +2850 rpm at the first run.
MY GEAR IS NOT JUMPING DOWN ..... Cant understand if you can't see and hear that at the dyno run.....

Tell me where the gear is jumping down????

Feel so hopeless that all of these things, ...mind will close down the whole thing.....
as you whole time smash the head against the wall.
Some of you are so ****ing stupid ....... Sorry but for me, this looks just as so.

Asi know; 2004>>2010 R230 SL600/SL65 sharing the same gearbox including facelift, which is (5G 722.649), with 900Nm,

just the last Edition of R230 SL65 which has (7G 722.932), with 1000Nm,,

Hope i'm not wrong..!!

Nice..If you found right info.
I think 7G mean 7 gears?
5G mean 5 gears?

Thank you...

You may be correct. I actually was told that by Marcin at Speedriven when I was discussing work needed. He said my gearbox would not need upgrading like the ones before 2007 as the internals had been upgraded to the sl65 spec.

Look, put this all to rest and go to a proper dyno. Either a Mustang dyno or a Dynojet will do. Your current dyno can't even spit out a proper dyno chart. Stop spending money on that dyno. If they can't figure out how to plot a dyno chart without the hp and tq intersection at 5252, you really don't need to take them seriously and we can't take your power claims seriously.

Who can take the OP seriously whatsoever? He answers my questions by picking up a $20 Russian tatt'd-up Prostitute from the Bus depot, takes pix of/it by his rig & claims she's his GF & that somehow answers/validates his lame dyno etc..

Hey Elk-Tard before you claimed married life w/children was the best? Now you post random pix claiming you have a Prost/GF half your age? Lets see some pix of you & the new GF on vacation together, holding hands, kissing? or anything of the like lol.. Every time someone contradicts your beliefs/findings you ramble on w/incoherent incessant BS till our eyes/ears bleed. If only you could see what we see, you'd for once be humble & shut D' fu-kup & actually LEARN SOMETHING....
