SL600 Upgrade turbos

Hello.

I have think to take the next step with my car.
More power.
I cant go the new exhaust and GT turbo route because its need so much more to do.

So what is your opinion if I upgrade the compressor wheel?
I have think to use 65AMG turbos for that because the exhaust wheel is a lit bigger to than SL600.

Has anyone done this?
How much more power?
How about the exhaust bak pressure?

Not much power to be had. The issue is that the turbo headers are so restrictive that it causes excess heat and prevents the proper flow needed to make high hp. If you make turbo headers, make a few and I will buy a set. I can have it tuned and you could use the tune. I have everything you have on your car but I also run a full size water tank in the trunk, two intercooler pumps, and have the BOV's mounted on the intercoolers so you would be able to use the tune on your car.

Yes, know the headers problem.
Well, I'm thinking to going Speedriven route. I have asked already an offer from them.
Marcin told me 65AMG turbos exhaust side wheel is a little bigger than SL600 also. I have found a used set of 65 turbos and I have thought to send them to Speedriven so they modified the compressor side to.
New bigger injectors and software. The whole package from them.
So I'm waiting around 40+50 whp.

What is your power at the moment?

I need to dyno the car. 50 to is not worth the effort to me. If I'm doing the work required to take the turbos off the car, I will upgrade to a custom manifold and better turbos and shoot for 1k hp.

No, I have not. Thinking about selling it. I can get a Mustang or Hellcat in the 1,000 hp level or above without too much effort. Not sure if I could ever get the SL to that level.

Okay... Yes it gone cost a lot of money to get +1000 hp from an SL600 or 65.
I'm gone keep my car. I have spend to much time with it.

BTW. Speedriven... iso at the market any more??
Do you use at your car stock injectors and stock fuel pump?
