It's not comedy. The home is located at 1124 Empire Circle, Lawrenceville, GA. It was vacated in November by a tenant paying $1300/month and is available for immediate occupancy. A 1990 300SL with automatic transmission is parked in the driveway.

Nice. If you know anyone who’d enjoy an SL550 2016 11,600 miles direct then to this thread. Enjoy the 300SL.
I will -- If it's a blind person who will be chauffeured about. But if someone has 20/20 vision corrected or better, I'd probably advise them to purchase an R230 in either the 550, 600, or 55 flavor.

I only tag and insure my R230. So the 300SL just sits.

The number of people in this world who will miss the current SL or would miss a successor resembling it could all comfortably have lunch together in a Fiat 500.
The R230 is a lovely car; stylistically, yours is a mess. When it was shown to the automotive press in the fall of '11, a writer commented that it looked as if one person styled the front half of the car, and another had styled the rear half. In response, an M-B representative helpfully stated the car had been styled by three people!
But there's a more revealing reason why the R231 is stylistically inferior to its predecessor, as the September 2012 issue of Car and Driver explained:
Think modern cars look bloated? Of course you do. Part of what you're seeing is the effect of European and Asian pedestrian-protection requirements that went live last decade. The idea is to leave enough space beneath the hood to keep a struck pedestrian's head from caving it in far enough to hit the top of the engine. So, you'd expect higher hoods and taller noses. But that little bit of air over the intake manifold ripples through and changes everything.
