CONVERTIBLE FLAP TRIM COVERS MISSING & BROKEN CLIPS
I have looked into this and there is a lot of what I am experiencing right now out there. either with the flap disappearing or clips wearing out. is this any more than just getting a hinge? what do you guys think?
do some self closing hinges work for this?

yeah but where do you get those hinges? are theose SLEF CLOSING? they must be right?
also are they AL hinges ?

I'm from Spain, I bought the hinges in a hardware store in my city, they are not special hinges, I think you can find them in any hardware store, you just have to adapt them
The plastic is drilled with a 3mm bit. The screws are 3.5mm wide and 4mm long but cut them and leave them at 2mm so they do not pierce the leather. the hinge is not glued, only bolted and then painted with black spray
