Attempting to repair headrest cover
My driver's headrest cover is loose underneath, resulting in a hanging cover; it annoys the crap out of me.
I removed the headrest by extending it to the highest point and then yanking it straight up to release it from its clips.
I've tried unsuccessfully to push the cover back in place before, it always falls. This time around I'm going with a wedge material.
I'm using a wide blade trim tool and some rope.
I used the trim tool to push the side of the cover into the side recess. I then cut a piece of the rope and used the trim tool to wedge it into place.
The attempt is to see if it's enough to hold the cover in place. I'll report back.

No velcro that I see. The edges have very small clips that appear to hang onto an interior bracket. I was never able to get them to stay.

After some high speed highway travel with the top down today, we have success. The rope wedge appears to be holding and I recommend it as a way in which to remedy the situation.
