ABC Fluid Reservoir Leak

After years of pushing and pulling the rubber grommet that has the fluid level stick on it, the base of the tube that's molded onto the reservoir is showing signs of moisture from the fluid.
Slightly pushing and pulling on the rubber grommet shows that it's allowing air to be pushed and released from the reservoir.

So, if this is allowing the ABC system to be sucking air from the fluid reservoir during normal operation, could this cause random erratic leveling behavior?
I replaced front and rear valve blocks, all accumulators and front and rear struts about 18 months ago, all has been working perfect.

Just feels like the car occasionally jerks around slightly on normal surface roadways.

Thanks for any feedback on this issue.

NO, this one has nothing to do with that, but what can be a issue is the cap on other side where filter sit under , sometimes people dont get it correct in place

so, you're saying filter not seated correctly?

Hopefully the ideas above solve your problem, but if not, car jerking around is also caused by a loose height sensor. I had it in 2007 S600 when the car would suddenly jerk (sideways) on a highway for no apparent reason. One of the height sensors had a loose bolt and jerking went away after I tightened it up. So periodic checking of all those sensors may be a good idea.

Thanks for sharing your experience, sounds a lot like the issue I'm having.
I'll be checking those sensors for sure.

I had an issue where I would have a small leak from the top of the ABC reservoir where fluid would leak from the top of the hose cap. It turned out the filter was installed at an angle instead of straight down and that angle prevented the cap from locking precisely.

I searched and searched and could not find anyone online with the same problem I described. Remove the cap, refill to correct level and ensure the cap is installed perfectly straight downwards. Even a little gap at 2000PSI will cause a fluid mess.
