That trim at the top of your side window is soaked by hydraulic oil from the roof mechanism. If that is current you have an oil puddle on your roof liner that is about to damage your interior. Protect interior with ample plastic, slightly open the roof, secure it and carefully take out roof liner to inspect things up there. An indication is of course the oil level in the hydraulic pump.
Removing the roof liner requires unfastening four or five hexbolts on its front end. Next you carefully pull the liner out, this will probably break many if not all of its plastic clips, which can be dealt with later. Likely culprit: front lock cilinder leaking oil.

Can you take a picture of what that loose bit of trim from the back attaches too? I've been trying to replace that for about 6 months now. Mine went MIA after the rear window was replaced. I've looked high and low for part numbers but I can't find anything.
roof half open, trim part NOT installed roof half open, trim part installed (laying there) Trim part, notice factory holes to secure item once installed
Thank you for that. If you could get a picture of what the piece the trim attaches too, that's what I really need. I just have a big hole where it used to me, and nobody can seem to figure out what goes there.

Looks to me that you are missing the rear window deck flap that moves through a hinge to allow the main panel to move around when the roof is opening or closing! I had that opening when the cable that moves that flap broke and the flap always stayed folded..>!
