Any remanufacturer buying ABC components?

I converted my 2004 SL500 to coilovers and my mechanic had time to remove all ABC components.

I now have a box with: tandem pump, pulsation dampener, pressure relieve valve block, front valve block, rear valve block, oil cooler.

I see there are many remanufactured ABC components being sold on Ebay and I wonder if there is a remanufacturer who would buy everything in bulk, similar to how Arnott does (used to do) with struts?

I think that the coil over conversions and maybe the Florida flood cars have wiped out the strut core market. Most rebuilders work with core suppliers who collect from salvage yards. The RMT and Arnott programs are fairly unique. I would make you an offer on everything. Just PM me a picture(s) of what you have.

I'm curious- which coilover set did you put on?

I'd be interested in the pulsation dampener if you are willing to separate.

CEIKA, but I am still figuring it out 😅: either something isn't right or my expectations were too high. I plan to share my experience on the forum, but timing of it depends on CEIKA and availability of my mechanic.

ok- I'm hearing good things about silvers neomax.

You have to find someone who knows these cars/setup very well. Someone with a lot of experience installing coilovers so you can get all the levels and dampening settings correct.

I follow gold element autoworks on youtube and he has vast knowledge about coilovers- specifically the neomax. He's installed tons of them. He has clients ship the car to him. he quoted me $2500 labor to install the struts and remove all the ABC components.

Once my ABC goes south, I may ship the car to him in Ohio. This isn't a job for an inexperienced shop that's just going to slap the struts on and hand you the car.

I sold my struts to Arnot and with the proceedings I bought the coilovers!

I have Ceika on my car. I lowered it 40 mm. I have SL 350 anti roll bars fitted. I can't remember off hand what settings I have on the shocks but from memory it is 26 clicks on the rear and 22 front. I started soft. It drove Ok but pitched too much over speed ramps. I've not altered it now for two years, it corners dead flat just as fast as it did with ABC, I actually prefer it. The ride is the same as any normal car. I rarely give the suspension a thought now, before I never thought of anything else, especially don't miss looking for oil leaks on my driveway.
