56 here
Edit:
1st car was a '78 Chevy Z28. A rolling pile of quality escapes. Pushed me into Japanese and German cars and I've never returned.

60 here and feel 18 when I'm cruising but don't have to worry about breaking down like in my old junk boxes, lol. Also what was everyone's very first car? Mine was a 52 Pontiac I got when I was 15.

71 and the 911S Cab really makes you feel young. By the way, the kids in their 3 series don't bother to rev their engines....they know it's futile. Have had 5 SL's in the past. My first car was a 56 Ford Sunliner,

Good company
UMM..this is the one I've got my eye on first. 54 and now feeling a little better about even considering this one. A splurge late is better than no splurge at all!

2013 SL550, '06 Corvette Convertible
I'm 64, a long time Corvette guy. This is my first SL, and I love everythhing about the car, luxury, class, looks and of course speed. Quiet coupe when the wife doesn't want the hair messed, and beautiful convertible with the top down on a sunny Colorado day. Best part is, the '06 vette is still in the garage when I have an urge to run through the 6 speed manual.

71 - SL55 subtracts a few years - especially with the top down. First car was a rusty, clapped-out 1951 Ford two-door sedan.

2021 Mercedes GLC 43 AMG
My first car was a 64 Dodge Dart with a push button automatic. I bought it for $5 since it didn't run. I put $200 and a lot of time in it. Drove it for 2 years and sold it for $750. Only car I ever made money on

I don't know if it is ok to raise an old thread.
I felt better after finding this thread
I am 59 and as others say I feel much younger when I drive my sl-400
young men want to race me but I ignore them unless the traffic is light and safe to maneuver.
It feels good.

I'll be 71 next month. Been driving a Porsche 912 Soft Window Targa for the past 42 years, and CLK's and E Cabriolets for the past 15 years. With the top stowed the vast majority of the time. 40 degrees is my lower limit. All convertibles make you feel younger and put a smile on your face. If you can't be happy driving one of these great cars, you just can't be happy. Oh, and my first car was a Studebaker Speedster, which burned as much oil as it did gas.
