2015 prices aren't in NetStar yet, so I won't know how much the SL costs until they do.
Yes, delivery is waived on EDP.
But I do have to wait 3-4 months for the car's shipment back home, so I should charge them a waiting fee. :-)

From the confirmation e-mail they sent me regarding delivery:
Return shipment from time of drop off to dealership in USA: East Coast will take a total of approximately 11 weeks and to the West Coast approximately 13 weeks before the vehicle arrives at the dealership. If your vehicle is dropped off outside of Germany, please allow an additional three weeks return shipment time. If your vehicle is dropped off outside of Germany, please allow an additional three weeks return shipment time. Note: Once the vehicle arrives at one of our ports of entry (Baltimore, Brunswick or Los Angeles), it is customs cleared as a privately owned car. This process may take up to a week or more. After customs clearance, the vehicle is conveyed to the Mercedes-Benz Vehicle Preparation Center (VPC), to go through a comprehensive quality control check. It is evaluated for any damages that might have occurred while traveling in Europe or in transit. These comprehensive procedures require an average of 10 to 20 business days. However, if considerable damage is found, the delivery of your vehicle to dealership may be delayed. Transportation time to delivering dealership may vary depending on dealership’s location. Your dealership can track this vehicle once it is at the Vehicle Preparation Center. Therefore, once the vehicle arrives at the port, please allow at least 5-6 weeks before it arrives at your dealership.

I did Euro Delivery in Sept. 2013 on a 2014 SL550 and it was one of the best vacations I ever had. Used the car for 1 month there and would do it again in a heartbeat. It took me 8 weeks to get the car back.

European Delivery
Took delivery of 2009 SL550 in August 2008. M-B discount plus dealer added 3% for total of 10% off MSRP. All arrangements were faultless. Toured the factory in Sindelfingen and watched robots building C class sedans. Three weeks, 2100 miles, all over Eastern Europe, fabulous trip. Enough room for 3 weeks of luggage. Dropped car off in Frankfurt before getting on plane. 8 weeks to have car delivered in San Francisco Bay Area. No hangups with customs as far as I know. You can track ship through part of journey, not middle of Atlantic. Had to await its turn through Panama Canal. I still have this car, 69K miles, zero problems. Great road car. I always tell people that if you can do it, get one before they take the keys away.

The 2015 prices were put into net star last Thursday (July 10th).
I now have my August 11 delivery confirmation order with prices.

Curious to see what new toys we all have and will have. When I got my 2013 SL550 I posted all the packages, features (lighted door sills, etc) and factory codes for them. Many did - for fun.
