New floor mats and door striker covers
I purchased a set of Lloyds LUXE mats for my 2019 SL450. The OEM mats were starting to show a bit of wear at 19k miles, and the quality IMO of them were lacking.
The Lloyds are super-plush and cover more area than OEM and attach at stock mounting points. I have these in 2 other cars (2017 Corvette Grand Sport and 1995 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo) and the quality is great. Got them through AutoAnything.
I also purchased some door striker coverplates from ebay. Most people will never notice, but I think it adds a more finished look. About $10.

I went for Lloyds mats as well. Very nice quality at a reasonable price.

Nice touch! I just bought a set...
Now lets hope they stay on
(edit) You should get commission on those. They're now out of stock LOL!

I contacted Lloyds about the number of grommets and received a reply that the driver's mat only has the 2 bottom grommets. The third one at the upper left side is not installed. Now I'm on the fence about ordering a set of Luxe mats.

Did the design of the driver's side floor mat change? I checked with Lloyds about the grommets and received a reply that said the driver's mat only has 2 grommets. ZCARGUY says his mats came with all 3 grommets. I asked about the mats for a 2015 so I'm wondering if the mat design changed for later year cars? If I order mats for a later year car will they fit my 2015?

I went out to the garage and snapped pictures of the driver's side mats with THREE snaps. Passenger side has TWO.
Car is 2019 SL450, and mats were received from Lloyds about 2 weeks ago.
Hope this helps.

Had a nice discussion with Lloyd's today. They made a slight change to the shape of the front mats starting with the 2017 model and added the third grommet. The 2013-2016 model mat is shipped with Velcro to secure the flap over the left footrest.
If anyone can confirm that the newer mats will fit in the older cars including using the third grommet I would be most appreciative.
