Please help Can anyone source a heater valve? I can’t find it anywhere in the world

****UPDATE The reason the part is not available is because Mercedes actually changed what the new part looks like, new part number and you have to leave part of the old part there that actually plugs into the electrical pig tail.
The new part number is: 2782002152
I am attaching the new picture as well of what it looks like.

2013 Mercedes Sl550
my heater control valve snapped and all I can do is jbweld it to get it home. I can not find it on eBay or anywhere or at any dealer. Any ideas?

part number: A2782000831

Did you try FCPEuro? If yes, then your local dealer? Wish I could help.

Well, sounds like you covered most based. I'm out of ideas other than a junkyard and that would be a crapshoot.

You might want to call them and see if it is in stock or what the lead time is. Is the JB Weld holding?

Thanks, I think there needs to be an A infront of the part number for it to be the right now. But I think they will be closed today. I have not installed it yet.

I think every Mercedes part number starts with an "A", so it is often ignored or left off.

Unfortunately, this is fairly common these days. I recently had a dealership buy some used calipers I had for sale. They were unable to source the parts in order to get the car out of the shop and into the customers hands in a reasonable amount of time. Wreckers may be the only way to get the car on the road if you need it sooner. Many of those dealership websites will let you purchase/order the part, but will not be able to get the part faster than your local dealer. I would call those online dealers for availability first before buying online. Your local dealers will typically check national inventory, same place those online sites get the parts from. You may also check to see if that part number hasn’t been superseded. I show A2782002152 as a possible replacement, but you need to check your VIN to confirm. You may also need A0025457383 to go with that new part #.

btw this is a somewhat common failure as that part can get brittle and break like yours:

Good Luck.

forget eBay and your local dealers, these two members did the (not so) heavy lifting for you; click link and buy, $76.86 or $85.05

What link?

And when advice is free, any lifting is heavy.

I put a link to the part in my post. The shopping cart expires at some point and wont show anything, so I made a new link once more.If the op never comes back and clicks it, the info in the link I provided will expire again. That’s why I instructed him to click the link and search if it’s no populated anymore. I made it easy for him, but I can buy it for him. Lol

Remember folks, many of these dealer websites such as mercedesoem, or mboemparts.com will let you purchase parts they don’t stock. They all have the same national source for these parts. If the part is out of stock nationally, you will have to wait the same amount of time, no matter where you purchase, online or local dealer. Many of these dealer websites even still “sell” parts that are no longer available or discontinued. So beware. I’m not saying to purchase the part at the local dealer. I’m saying if the part is not available nationwide, it won’t matter where you purchase it, the result will be the same lead time in order to get the part.

That being said, please see my note in above post about that part being possibly superseded…..
