Trunk storage netting??

Hey all, not on here all that much but I do have a new question concerning my 2014 SL, just turned 30k miles, and what you all are using to secure things in your trunk. Mine did not come with anything and I have done a few searches for MB accessories but have run into dead ends. Doesn't need to be factory MB piece, aftermarket would probably be 80% cheaper! The smaller items seem to roll around back there.

It almost looks like the factory provided 2 "hooks" near/on the top deck that would provide some kind of attachment points for a stretch net / cargo product which would hang down on the rear wall of the truck cavity. See pics. The net mesh stretch bag I'm thinking of would lay flat when empty and should allow movement of that partition even when loaded with small items.

It also looks like the factory provided 4 small mounting hooks on the floor - 2 on each side, again for some kind of netting style storage. Again, see pics.

I did find a universal product on Amazon that would work on at the rear location. Black stretch style cargo net pocket like with an opening at the top.
What you all have?

2 factory clips at the top portion just below the window - hidden when the movable partition is in the up position

The area below those 2 upper clips. Thinking that the cargo / stretch mesh bag would hang down here. Should not interfere with the movable partition

4 clips in the floor area, 2 on each side

The hooks in your first picture are for the retractable screen on the partition cover. The four clips (two on each side) are for netting.

Retractable screen? In my SL trunk? Guess I'm missing something or do not have that option in my car.

It rolls up into the partition. Look for the pull tab under the partition.

Ha Ha Ha, I've owned this car for 5+ years and never knew that this was attached to the bottom side of the partition! How embarrassing!

Thanks for info!

Well, I'm another one who had no idea there was a retractable screen on the bottom of the trunk partition! LoL! Is its purpose to prevent stuff stored in the trunk from protruding up beyond the partition in the back area?

But, I also have a 2014 SL550 and would like to know where to get a "tie down net" for my trunk, like the OP is looking for. Anybody have an idea where we can get one?

Take measurements of the area between the clips on each side of the trunk and search for one on Amazon.

This is NOT the correct part for the trunk partition. I believe it's the sunshade for the inside of the glass roof that is NOT Magic Sky Control.

Netting for 4 clips in the SL trunk

When I purchased my car, I searched for the cargo net for the 4 clips in the trunk. Mercedes Benz dealer told me that it was no longer available.

I ordered one from EBay Motors and it was a perfect fit.

Did that yesterday and found a couple of generic black stretch net bags that would lay flat against the rear vertical portion of the truck cavity. May have to order them.
