AMG GTC Roadster, E63s Ed.1, M8 Comp. Coupe
Price, discount, MF, down payment (should always be zero), rate includes taxes? Just ask him to send you the lease worksheet that shows all info.
Residual has the bigger impact on the rate. You might want to consider only getting a 7500 mile a year lease. Bumps up the residual by a couple points and give you a much better rate.
As long as you are at 25 cents a mile you can pay for the overage at lease end or better yet, make it go away on the next deal. It'll be a better deal even when driving 12k miles...

Just my opinion, but if $70 a month is your line of demarcation on this car it’s probably not the one for you for many reasons. Also, agree with Wolfman that the monthly payment is the worst thing to focus on. It’s just math - negotiate the actual terms of the deal. Sounds like you are already getting the best price on the car possible. So talk to them about the other components of the equation. LeaseHackr is a useful resource.

Nationwide Search for your New R232 SL Discount Off MSRP & Sales Tax
Expand your list of dealers to all states. Shipping is cheap and the only limit maybe associated with leasing. That's a maybe though. When we were looking for an AMG GTC roadster we went country-wide. East coast dealerships had laughable deals and the best deal happened to be in SoCal of all places. $30k is a steep discount for a current model year unless there is a good amount of trunk money involved.
Good luck

I seen where a member stated that he got $35K off of MSRP for his new SL63. I am lookng to build-up & buy a 2024 AMC R232 Performance Option SL55. As you have done the nationwide search can you tell me if it is best to purchase the new car in a state with no sales tax to save thousands of $$ & drive it home to Florida?

You must be buying a 2022 or 2023 model because the dealers presently do not know the pricing on the 2024 SLs' even though it is now January. Mercedes Benz has not released pricing on the 2024 SLs' yet. Dealers should not even be accepting deposits without the manufactures pricing lists. The Mercedes Benz Build web-site is still on only 2023 models. Only the dealer can build the 2024 SL but without pricing.

Not in Florida. Referring to the 2024 SL55 Build to Order. They can not sell what they can not get & I need to know the MSRP so as to negotiate a discount before putting down a deposit.

Where's the trust????? It's only money
I think MB should give a monthly stipend for all the beta testing

You're unlikely to see the MSRP of '24s until just before they begin to ship to the states and I doubt that happens until the surplus of incentivized 2022 and 2023 models move.

I live in another state but purchased an SL out of Florida. You can save yourself Florida sales tax by having vehicle shipped to your state. If you drive it off the lot you pay taxes.

Why? I thought you pay the sales tax based on your registration State?

I have purchased new cars in Connecticut and had the dealer register them in GA. I paid GA sales tax and drove the car off the lot with temp CT in transit tags. I did not pay any CT sales tax.

There's a very low mileage SL63 on BAT.........depending on reserve, it could be a bargain. The auction concludes at about 1:30 EST today. The last SL63 on BAT didn't noit sell at $122K+/-. This car is current sub $100K.

BAT result sold at $147K.........on a 2022 Bidding wars between several parties. Outlandish result compared to Mannheim results

I believe your home state has to have a tax reciprocity agreement with the state of Florida. My state does not. So, even though I was at the dealership buying the car, I had to have it shipped to my home state to avoid the double taxes.

The case for all states is sales tax is paid to the state in which the vehicle will be registered. When a state has tax reciprocity, taxes are collected at the time of sale and paid to the registering state, not to the state in which the vehicle is purchased. When there is no reciprocity the sale is tax free and taxes are paid during title transfer and registration.

I bought my 2023 SL55 with a $30K discount from MSRP. The car is Alpine Gray with White/Black diamond quilted interior and located in MBZ Escondido. I had MBZ West Covina dealer traded with Escondido without paying for additional shipping since these 2 dealers are in the same network. Love the color combination and the sharp interior. This is my 3rd SL and finally bit the bullet and went for AMG this time around.
