1958 was a very good year
This belongs to a friend of mine. We took it out on the street for a few miles. It doesn't get driven vey much, as it is one of his collector cars. The car is like new throughout. I wonder how much it is worth. Any ideas? He has several other car, including a 1949 Bentley that looks like it was built this morning.

Mmmm, one of my favorite cars of all time. Nice examples sell for 300-500K depending on the history and condition.

Thanks for the info. I was just curious, as he would never consider selling it. I am sure his kids will have a field day when the day comes. I think he has at least a $million worth in the entire collection.

i seen one 1958 fair condition silver for 8000$ at the net.

This is the car we are talking about, not the ones in your links. Offered at 335,000 euros. Wha'ts that, about$485,000? The gullwings are even more, but I like the roadster better.

8k, 80k, you're still off by 5X

Wrong car again. the 190 sl of the same era was a completely different car, try again. I recommend you brush up on your knowledge of old mercedes on the classic section of the mb website.

the 300sl was a car that changed the world in racing and on the street. google stirling moss and mille migilia
