Capri Blue, anyone have one?? Comments??

I would love to see some pictures of an SL in Capri Blue. Anyone have any??
Really thinking about buying an SL this color.

What does anyone think about this color??

2005 SL600, 2011 Honda Odyssey Touring Elite

Capri Blue is one of the best colors for the SL. Black Opal is another good choice, and not very common.

'97 RENNtech E60RS

This is an '05 SL600 that sold on eBay in February for $90,100. Yes, it is a great looking car in this color, isn't it? I have not seen one in person and am wondering if it might be a bit darker than it appears in the photo.

It is a bit darker with a little metallic flake to it. Great color.

Yes, you are right. Mercedes of Manhattan (New York) has an '05 SL600 that they identify as Orion Blue. Although the photo on their web site isn't all that good, that car and the eBay '05 above appear pretty similar. The SL in Orion and Capri blue looks terrific, IMO, especially with a light interior like stone. I would think that these two colors are pretty hard to find in the SL600, however. Too bad I wasn't looking when the '05 Orion blue one sold on eBay for $90,100. It had just 8800 miles and most options except the AMG package.

2017 SL63

Just returned from the dealer. They had one car on the lot in Capri blue. CLS500. Not what I thought. Very deep in color but a bit to much purple in it. I was told that in the dark it looks even more purple. Nice color, just not what I'm after.

SL65 AMG
