The 7-speed tranny has got to be a good thing, along with the new interior, increased cooling capacity(?), recalibrated steering and suspension and brakes - fairly attractive changes.
But losing the 5.5 S/C motor?

I can't confirm this but I got a call from my dealer yesterday. They say they have one on the lot. Fletcher Jones in Newport Beach - 2007 SL55.

I was told by an Intertnet sales agent from Fletcher Jones that the SL63 would definitely come out as a 2008 model, probably as early as Fall next year...

berry is really gorgeous against obsidian black. that first post with the darker red looking interior looked almost like the "merlot red" that was in the e55's for awhile.
