ECU and pulley upgrade?
I'm considering the Renntech ECU and pulley upgrade for my 03 SL55. The cost is $4,995 not including labor for an advertised gain of 45 hp!! Anybody out there do this? Does the performance warrant the cost? Seems like an extremely high price for a modest hp gain. Thoughts?

exactly...starting to feel that's a wiser choice.

Again expensive but only the individual can justify the cost. Think about it another way; the Renntech mods will cost you $111 per HP whereas the complete SL55 costs you $249. It's only money!!!!!

As a bonus though, Mercedes-Benz throws in a set of wheels, some chairs and a stereo for free

Why Carlsson? Richard suggested Brabus over Carlsson simply because he's seen more problems with the Carlsson module. What's your take?

Well, i think the Carlsson lowering module has the most aggressive drop. Then again, everyone is entitled to his/her opinion!
