Renntech wheels are made in Japan. They are made from the same manufacturer that makes Champion motorsport wheels for porches. Here are more pictures for your viewing pleasure.

Yes, its very light. We are waiting for one of the sales guy to bring the electronic weighing machine. Hopefully we can differentiate the wheels. I have the carlsson UL 19s too. (jesses wheels though!)

FTR

Reducing the unsprung weight made a very noticable difference in the feel and handleing of the car.

Also, better for/easier, on the suspension and car in general.

Back to your regular programming...

Fwiw, I participated in the M5Board group buy of the RAC Monolites done on the same forge in Japan and can attest to the shockingly light weight of some of these wheels - they make a huge difference.

Any weights on these Adam? What size do they come in for the sl65? On a side note does the renntech front lip fit the 65 amg?

These wheels for an SL fitment are just about non-existant. The wheels show in the pic with the blue check floors are from when a customer came in to Dyno-Comp and we sold them for him. Now we do have 19's all the same size coming out of our ears. But they wont fit an SL
