Discount off MSRP on new SL55 w/ 030?
What kind of discount should one expect on a 2007 SL55 AMG w/ 030 PP special ordered these days?
The last time I went to the dealer about 2-3 yrs ago, there was zero discount and I was looking at about $165k out the door.

i doubt they discount sl55s much, especially 030

2006 SL55 with 030 Performance Package
I have a 2006 SL55 AMG with the 030 package 2,900 miles perfect new conditon Silver with Black Leather pano roof, heated/vent seats, keyless go,sirus sat radio, and Bi-Xenon lights.
I might sell it, its been in my heated garage undercover for the winter, but if it does not sell by March I think I will keep it for the summer. Let me know I can send pictures I love this car it just does not work for me with my 15 month old daughter maybe a S63/S65/Flying Spur will work better for me at this time.

I have an 07 55 on order with the 030pp. All I got was sad looks when I tried various pitches to get any discount. I had even cared for the dealership's daughter in the past. I got the feeling that no dealer in San Diego would discount even to their Mother. Next time I'll go in with my friend Vinnie from Detroit.

I got my 2007 SL55 030 for 7 percent off by doing european delivery. It was worth the wait, a lot of fun.
No one in Louisiana or Texas that I spoke with last year was willing to offer any discounts.

How did you get a discount for Euro delivery of an AMG? They don't offer the discount program for Euro delivered cars.. You can Euro deliver but the kill the discount on AMG's.

I was told that vehicle models come and go for ED. Some AMGs were/are available now. But I do feel lucky.

The discount applies and you can order any options you want, although the discount doesn't extend to options.

Actually, even a 2007 SL65 isn't a bad deal in comparison. The price of a similarly-equipped SL55 is close to $150k when you consider the 030 and some other options are standard on the 65. The last $35k is a bargain for the 65 experience.
