05 SL 55 AMG, 01 Turbusa/8.43 @ 183..1/4 mi.
I suspect that the pulley on the '07 Supercharger (as opposed to the Crankshaft Pulley) may be just a hair smaller as well, which in turn would speed up the Supercharger at any given RPM just as a larger crankshaft pulley would do if all else remains equal..........Food for thought.

I haven't driven an 05, but from what I hear the steering feels better also.

Fingertip manual mode allows direct-access shifting through forward gears via a new ergonomic sport steering wheel with aluminum shift paddles on the back of the upper steering-wheel spokes (left paddle downshifts, right paddle upshifts) or via the Touch Shift feature on the shift lever, and will automatically intervene only to select 1st gear when the vehicle stops. In Sport and Comfort modes, the steering-wheel buttons operate the Touch Shift feature.
