Yes I see what you mean, there is some confusion about the Cobra pump, claiming it flows less, and loses HP compared to a stock pump which I gather is the same as ours?
In anycase... Did you see the times these guys are turning?!?!!! 11.35's?
So you mean a these guys with their Pickup Trucks Are going to BLAST MY HEAP!!!!! EGADS!
Pulley and TB here I come

Here is the link for the cobra pump. This is not the lightning truck pump. You have to do some conversions. That converts to my numbers above. Or You can test it versus stock. which my test confirmes almost 4 times stock rate.

The cobra pump is a bosch pump. Howver pumps 3-4 x more water /minute. Here is the link to buy.

converting, it turns to 1.2 m^3/hr
converting again, it turns to 20 l/min.
stock is 14 l/min, which 14 * 3 = 42 l/min claimed, double the bosch pump.
the linked unit above is a bit over 50% more than the claimed OEM flow. however, we have not counted the performance curve at different pressures. i'm not certain of the system pressures, but the 20 l/min looks to be on the low restriction side of the performance curve.

oh geez,
i actually looked through some archives in mbworld.org
the pump you linked is 0 392 022 002. look at the performance curves
then look at this thread:
https://mbworld.org/forums/c32-amg-c55-amg-w203/206555-replacing-bosch-ic-pump-johnson-c030.html
the pump that was pulled off the 55k is 0 392 022 003, which actually has a better characteristic curve than the 002... i have the 003 on my desk right now, and the difference is that the 03 has a metal motor side housing, while the 002 has a plastic.
if you replaced it with the 002, you may be getting at best stock flow, or maybe a bit less. your gains are probably from a new pump opposed to a used pump.

I am ending the debate of what pump is on my car. I bought a new pump it should be here today. Unfortunately, I am recovering from emergency surgery so I can buy but can't install. LOL. Here is the link to what is going in mine. Plus I had a dual pass heat exchanger custom built so that will be going in soon.
