Wheel

Yes, I just bought one of these for my '04 SL55. Beware, though, the wheel is a take off wheel, so while it is new, they do have some signs of wear on the inside of the wheels. The leather on mine is perfect though.

I'm no expert, but I reckon the shift buttons won't work if the original wheel does not have shift buttons either.

I have original mercedes benz SL55 Steering wheel in black for sale if anyone is interested. It came off of 2005 SL55 and it is original Mercedes streeing wheel not knock off. Please let me know if anyone is interested.
