2007 SL55 AMG front bumper retrofit questions

Hi fellow sl55ers,

I am trying to retrofit my 2003 SL55 to the newer 2007 Front bumper. Can anyone tell me what else i need to do the conversion?

All i have are...
front bumper, fog lights, and the 3 mesh peices. Am i missing anything?

I hear that the Sl65 bumpers need springs to make the washers and might need to get things cut... will the 2007 amg bumper require the same? Any help will be really appreciated.

SL55 to SL63

Hi,

I have a 2006 SL55 with the 030 package.

I converted it to the 2010 SL63 look. Every panel on the outside is a Factory MB part.

I can do it for $17K if interested.

I did this conversion on my car, you will need the bumper reinforcementsm they are different the the old bumper. You will need the spring for the headlight washer n some cutting is involved bc it doesn't fit flush because the bracket from the old bumper is not used on the 07 bumper.
