Guys,
My client whom i'am working for wants to buy the SL 65 Black.
Do we have offical pricing and where the best place would be to buy this Car?

Any help would be greatly apreciated!

Thanx!

No official pricing yet. A high AMG volume dealer is the only place you'll be able to get one.

He can have mine for 400K. That should cover my initial cost.

Some 200 65Blks coming to US....at some <$300K each (MSRP)...

?50 will likely easily sell at MSRP at major dealers in SiliconValley/Greenwich/BevHills....many of rest will sit at dealers in Podunk languishing....

US/EU are in a recession....back in ?'03 (not a recession), F struggled to sell Enzos at mere MSRP in various EU mkts, incl France....adjacent to allegedly vaunted MC/London....hmmm....

It was a bit of a joke. Cars are not out yet. I do have one on order but no one knows the price yet. Some where less than 350K I hope. Should be here end of this year early next but dates have not been given out yet.

They had no problems selling them here and still don't. even in this recession.......

Tried to buy one three weeks ago and couldn't get the owner to budge on his price. They seem to be holding just fine to my shegrin.

The SL 65 Black Series is priced in Europe at 309 400 Euros, from her you can do un estimation of the US price.

Currency Conversion
If you need to do a currency conversion, here's a site that does it quite easily:

http://www.xe.com

As of today's date, the approximate exchange rate is $1.50 USD = 1.00 €.

This means that the 300,000 € price would be $450,000 USD.

However, the price for Mercedes-Benz vehicles in Europe is much higher than for same model in the U.S. I have no idea why this happens, but go to the German M-B web site and check out the pricing. And, note that they have about a 19% Value Added Tax (VAT) that must be paid on top of the prices quoted.
