BTW, the ride is terrific. I thought it would be a big difference between the 18's and the 20's but beside MONSTER grip, the ride is pretty much the same. next step is to lower this baby a little bit.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
It looks great on a black car!
It must be the early morning sunshine that makes it look Tan.
Hopefully the 2006 facelift will have the oil cooler/bumper standard. That is just my wish

And for good measure my E55 w/ 19" Carlsson 1/16 Ultralights.

Enjoy!

People in general have to start worrying/thinking about what they have. Especially, many people in this forum that own 100K+ automobiles. Its not like we don't know where our next meal is going to come from. Come on guys!
To those that try to justify (for there own good) why someone else has more than they have, I ask you... what good does it do? That's what they have. Just worry about what you have!
Again, sweet cars AMG Girl. Someday, I hope to have half of the collection that you have there. Enjoy it
Anyone in my area with a decent living would afford to buy a SL55 in North America, so I am not really surprised that people like AMGgirl has such nice car collections. Gallardo in USA can only get a S500 in my area.
If you guys think owning some of those cars in USA are successful, please go see the outside world.
A Maybach in my area costs USD900,000, I guess that's when you can say someone is successful. People like AMGgirl or blueSL or whoever is really just better than decent.

And you say that anyone one in your area making a decent living could afford a SL55? WHERE DO YOU LIVE because I want to move there! Here we have most of the nation making a decent living (one of the highest standard of livings in the world!) yet very few could afford a SL55.

Maybach 62 - USD900,000
SL65 - USD385,000
SL55 - USD282,000
S500 - USD179,000
S320 - USD128,000
I am not saying people with decent living can afford SL55, but if it's selling at the same price as in USA (USD124,000), it will definitely become very common here, like a S320. You ll be surprised to see how many S class in Hong Kong.
The high price is not because of inflation, it's the import tax / automobile registration tax.
By the way, I am sorry about my English.

Well that has nothing to do with people being wealthy, thats just your country being greedy as hell and taxing the **** out of automobiles.
