This is definately the BEST SL55 I've ever seen. The wheels, the brakes, the color coding. Damn, it looks like a Black Knight! Definately the best SL I've seen! No comparison!

The mufflers are in the stock locations, Renntech canisters, with turn downs. The fab-design tips pipe inbetween the bumper and the storage well, and utilize around 1.5" diameter pipe for clearance reasons. Right now I'm running 2.5" piping cat back, and I just wasnt willing to bottleneck the system, so I opted for turn downs. In my opinion the custom mesh and lack of any visible exhaust tip/s gives the rear of the car a very sleek and unique look. Wow I love that California License plate people dont understand how lucky they are living in California or Florida. Cant begin to explain how much better those 2 states are then all the others.

My first picture posts on MBworld.org.. Expect more in the near future as I upgrade my HIDs to 6000K with matching lights, new wheels, etc...

I chose this color cause it's classy and I've had numerous Brilliant silver vehicles currently and in the past including Mercedes. This pic was taken near sunset, it's a brighter silver during the day.

. Didn't mean to seem unfriendly ignoring your posts. It didn't occur to me to check this thread for responses; I only stopped back by today because I couldn't remember where I'd stuck the pics on my server. In any case, the camera is a Canon 1D (mark 1). This is my favorite everyday camera by far because its pics require zero post processing to look that good. For ultimate detail I'll pull out the 1Ds MarkII, but you have to spend a few minutes in Photoshop on every picture to get them looking right for web or print.
Twinturbo, it's not a Kia, it's a Honda with the optional Ferrari knock-off bodywork!

Really? I'm quite happy with the out-of-the-box quality from my mk2 now that I've tweaked a few of the camera parameters. The most important one is to set the sharpening parameter to 2; if you're shooting cars & other mechanical objects you might want to use 3. Either way, it does a much better job with highlights and shadow detail than the older series.
