Very impressing!
But it wasn't with the tires on the pic's, right..?
I guess, it must have been MT or something, right..?
Thanks
Rallistas

I was running 18x8 with 255/40/18 front and 18X9.5 with 295/35/18 BF Drag Tires rear.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Blackbenz: 10's is my target, how I plan to get there is in the works as we speak. I know I have plenty of room to work with, and guess we will see. I had no intentions on modding some more, but after seeing what my car was running has now open a new can worms for me. Only time will tell. Congrats on your ET times....Very impressive.

As far as the ABC warning goes, I sometimes get a little axle hop at launch and could imagine that causes the ABC system to scramble as it tries to keep up with the axle movement. If you listen to the audio on this video clip, you can hear the axle hop on either my car or Blackbenz's: http://vimeo.com/2334101. On this run in particular the ABC warning message displayed, so my guess is that it's my axle hop and the hop triggered the ABC warning.

Hey Vadim,
Really want to say thanks to you and your team over at your office. You guys really know what you are doing, I had no idea you were this good. Im getting a lot of power from your tune and I can imagine a lot is coming from the custom long tubes headers you built for me along with you X-Pipes. Those long tubes are really one of a kind.
I will call you later on today so we can go over some of the mods I have in mind. Lets get this SL into the 10's!
I'm sure it will go tens as it sits off spray. Maybe one day I will miss he track too much and go for the mercedes record by shedding weight, race gas tune, and forged axles

Your car moves out man.. very clean launch. nexttime we do this we will deep stage you , get that trap speed up even more.
We are all very impressed with your car and your driving. Great job , and thanks for the seat help. I look forward to helping you tick down although you likely need to lose 200-300 lbs to get in the 10's here. Or add 75-100 hp and lose 75 lbs.
Replace your batteries or at leastthat huge one,

Talk to Tony and tell him Juicee63 with the CLS 63 AMG sent you. The new generation batteries are as light as 3 lbs and have more safety and efficiency features. You can use this battery everyday go with the 900 or 1200
. You even ran slightly faster than the one that ran at MIR @ -2050 ft DA
Your run was at about +400 ft. Your car definitely has more potential. This time around, we'll have a lot more traction and more extreme track prep.Your car WILL go low 11s

But if you want to compare his runs to mine:
- The DA on my best run was -1,267, not -2,050 (see http://www.dragtimes.com/Mercedes-Be...lip-13186.html). The DA was lower earlier in the day but the runs were slower because the track was cold.
- I ran street tires while Sal ran drag radials.
- I had a weekend's worth of luggage in my trunk--MIR is 500 miles from Ann Arbor and I drove back and forth--while Sal's trunk was empty plus he removed his passenger seat.
Sal, if you want to run head-to-head I'd be glad to meet you halfway in Amarillo with the loser buying steaks at the Big Texan. In the meanwhile, here's hoping you post some awesome times at Famoso in January!

Don't forget your record run was also done on a hot lap if I remember correctly. We ran twice back to back with absolutey no cool downShould make for an interesting race if racing variables are equal
