Just bought SL65 any tricks ?
It will be here next week. 2006 SL65 in Silver. Are there any dyno mode or sneeky ECU tricks like there are for my E55 ? Going to take it to the track next week and line them up. The 65 will be on a drag radial.

Great choice! We have a great ECU/TCU set up for the 65, that frees up hp/tq, improves throttle response and gets rid of that dumb speed limiter!

Try running 100 octane and reset the ECU and TCU before making a pass. That's the way my car ran its best times.

Mine are located in the fuse box under the hood. I'm not sure if it is in the same place on an SL65. Simply unplug the harness from the ECU and TCU and let it sit for 5 minutes. The adaptive driving features are actually what you are resetting. I'm not sure what your car should run stock. My car ran 10.73 at over 130 mph with very few mods. Never ran it stock.

I have a set of drag radials on 18" rims for the SL65 if you are interested. PM for details. Only used them at the strip two times before I sold the car.
