Please read the text which is linked in my post. Then you'll know that it's not.

If seen this colouring last week personal (even though on a different car) at a special paintshop in germany.

If you have any questions about it, ask the owner (of the paintshop) in the international AMG Owners Club Forum. His username is 'Micha'.

Regards,
Ronald

Although I understand what you are saying, the photo appears to be doctored.

To help debunk this, an outdoor photo of the vehicle with a real background, and the sun would greatly show the colors.

So far, I don't have that much influence in Mercedes-Benz press releases.

But here you go:

(Yes, I know it's a BMW, but Micha usually drives an SLK 32)

Maserati too!!?!?! Wow I'd love to see that!
Yeah those TVR's are amazing with the camelon paint (like the one who ran the 2002 Gumball 3000 rally)!

But I dunno, on a SL, it's not for me.

He's a genious! That's why it doesn't look good (IMHO ovecourse) because silver is naturaly shiny, and then the cameleon effect is just too much....but wow, that on a nice black, wow!

...and those 20K Kleeman doors, damn we got a winna!!!!
