I was at my dealer Autohaus today for a minor repair to my car, and while waiting, as usual wen't to the showroom.
They have three (3), SL55's with hand printed signs on the windshield:
WAS $195,000, NOW $159,000
Still $36,000 over MSRP.
I am waiting patiently.:p

Yup, the market is getting softer. My dealer called me today and said they Black SL55 they tried to get $30,000 over for was still on the showroom floor and they would now gladly take $7,000 over.

I have been looking carefully the last few weeks. Bought an Sl 55 today for 15 k over sticker.
Brilliant Silver with Ash interior......all options except ventilated seats.tire pressure monitor and parktronic.

The comfort package is only available on the SL500. The AMG 55 comes standard with the fancy sport seats. The ventilated seats (which are part of the comfort option on the SL500) are an option on the AMG55

On your "post reply" page there is a "browse" button where you can select photos that you have saved in your files. ie. "my documents", or "my pictures", etc.

The rims are : (on the right) AMG Style IV Two piece 19". They are available in silver or chrome. AMG recommended 8.5X19front and 10X19 rear. Tires: 255/35/19 front 285/30/19 rear
Rims on the left: Brabus style VI come in several sizes
Both are available on the web, sometimes found on sale. Use google and you will find both if you punch in the names I have given you.
I just ordered the (silver) AMG Style IV Two piece wheels for my SL 55 due to be built this week for March delivery. $5818.50 less $600 for the takeoffs. Michelin Pilot Sport tires in the above sizes included in this price.

Unless you don't want to bother, I would just take them and sell them on Ebay; they should get you about $1500 with tires...
