SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: SL 63 Paint Job

SL 63 Paint Job
Last Sunday was the first F1 race of the year, I look forward to seeing the
pace car, a SL63. When it came out I noticed the front differed a bit from
my 63, on closer inspection the mesh at the bottom of the apron had been
painted. Some people have said the 63 apron mesh looks plasticky, and at
night it looks like there is a hole where the mesh should be. Looking at the
SL brochure I noticed the Pace car had the front apron fitted as a AMG extra
for non AMG cars. I also noticed the SL65 has a 63 front apron but the bottom is painted, but to me too thickly. The bottom of the 63 apron needed to my mind a delicate defining line. So what do you think, had it done to day. Personally I love it, looks more finished, but there will be some who preferred it as it was. Comments are welcome

F1 has changed completely, last years back markers are now winning, and
Ferrari and McLaren are not doing so well. The pace car has the AMG front apron that's an extra for non AMG cars, I guess it's stronger. I think what I have done at least has made it look more like the Pace car. There also seems
to be a few cars from Mitsubishi and Saab leaving it all black, I think it needs
a defining line.
