Time to go ask for the dealer to return the SL600 with the doors that don't lock. I'll bet he'll give you a good deal on the SL63 trade.

No no, I still love this car, but I was getting confused with the speedo,
it goes 120 and then 140 so I was mistaking 120 to be 130!!
I must admit I need reading glasses so allthough my vision is perfect through
the screen the dials are a bit fuzzy. I would still rather have this car than
my CL65 or my SL55, if I want some torque I can still drive my S600.

Blurry vision caused by tyres, put a set of Mich PS2 on today, wonderfully
smooth. Seriously I have perfect long range vision.

Hi, the speedo goes up in 10mph sections until it gets to 120. it thens goes
in 20mph sections. I knew where 140 was so I was confusing 120mph as
130 mph. Stupid idea, should be left in 10mph sections all the way through.

I may still be asleep, but I'm so confused. So your speedometer was at 130 but you thought it was 120?

Exactly, not to say I have done anything illegal. Track only of course.

If you set the speedo to digital read out it's easier, which I should have done.
However I have no other way to tell how fast the car is unless it reaches
a certain speed. You can get a gut feeling and extremes will tell you, however
take my CL65, it was so quiet it's not until you look at the speedo do you
realize how fast you are going.!
