Isn't this the same car (in Kuwait I think) we saw before which had been vandalised. I hope it hasn't happened again. The first time, they were able to polish it out but you can do that all the time. Doesn't matter where in the world you live, someone will be resentful of a car like this though I do find the SL55 attracts less attention that I thought it would, probably not such a bad thing.

A tragedy like this was bound to happen. Unfortunately, you just can't park cars like these anywhere. Once people find out how valuable it is, they are drawn in to vandalize it. I am surprised that they didn't do more damage, like scratch the paint with a screwdriver, or beat on the car with a hammer.

Hi there... Thank you for posting them again cclllkk... Yep.. that happened in Kuwiat, and it was parked infront of my house. It wasn't that late at night (around 10:30pm on a friday night). And what realy P*** me off, that I dont' have enemies...

The way I took it off by using thiner. A friend of main who he knows a lot about car paint (and owns a car body shop) said that the lacker on the pain from the manifacturer will protect the original paint from the thiner. And it works on the rims to.
But now I feel my car lost some of it shine... just a litel.. But hey.. It is beter than the art work.
If you wanna see what it looks like after just click here (and go to page 4):
