SL63 IWC brand new is not possible in the 90Ks yet. After New Year's Eve, yes.
"Regular" SL63 in the 90Ks is possible I think but it will end up costing you over 100K anyway with taxes and registration.
Either you wait 2-3 more months or you go for a SL550.
I heard the new SL will have minor changes so current SLs will sure lose even more value.
IMHO, your best best would be a SL550.

Also when do you think would be the best time to buy a SL550? MBUSA has a 15K Dealer incentive on the SLs and on this basis I have seen offers in the 88-89K range. This incentive expires Nov. 2. What do you suggest in terms of timing and target price for a 2009 SL550?
Thanks so much!

I also heard about the minor chnages for the SL550s for the 2011 model being released in Q1 2010. Since the changes are "minor" then why do you think: "current SLs will sure lose even more value."

MB's 15K incentive sounds good. Most dealers have this kind of incentive as we approach the end of the year. So expect even more discount after the year ends.
It depends on when you need/want the car.
