went to House of Imports on saturday for warranty work and spotted matte white SL63 AMG in the showroom...
beautiful color... gotta see it in person... enjoy the pics...

I'm starting to like it, especially in white. I guess as with everything, it has to grow on one. Still wondering why people buy it with the new one ahead. Ok, you can still drive it for 2 years or maybe 3, but then..huge depreciation. I see the pricing on one of the pics, that says 169.000 $. Well, for the exact same sl 63 in Belgium you pay 185.000 €. That is in $ : (take a deep breath !!) 260.850 $ !!!!

and in Belgium is a Mercedes a lot cheaper then in Holland. In Holland costs a standard SL63 (no IWC) €213,892,- (= $307,084,-) twice the price of a SL in the US. So for the IWC will be the price in Holland around the $360,000,-. As I said already in previous posts, you guys in the US are such lucky people.

Can I get the same look if I use 600 - 800 grit sandpaper?
I saw a show on TV last night where they customized a Smart car by having it redone in a flat/satin black finish. It actually looked good.

Saw the very same car at the House yesterday--- still there in all its glory. In person its really really nice with the CF accents and the matte white. I was tempted, really tempted--- plus you get the "10K" watch too.
