I hope you are referring to the jack in the glove box. That is the AUX port. On the left side of your command display is the SVC button. Press the SVC button and then rotate the right side dial to scroll and highlight SYSTEMS SETTINGS. Now press the right side dial in. You should now see an AUX option. Use the right side dial again to scroll by rotating and highlight AUX. Press or click the dial again. You should now see AUX on the screen. Turn on your I-pod and enjoy.
If my recall isn't accurate enough for you to follow, PM me and I will get you better step by step info.
Good luck

Does anyone know if the svc aux in signal is analog, or if it converts to digital in the amplifier like the radio?
I ask because the eq settings do not save and it also does not have the same settings as the bose surround...
If the aux in is purely analog, the sound quality will improve from using a DAC such as the oppo ha2 between the ipod and the aux connector.
If there is a digital conversion in between, the ha2 likely wont help at all...
Does anyone know for sure?
Thanks!

My '04 does not have an aux input in the glovebox. Is there another option to connect an iphone/ipod to the AUX?
